Data and purposes
The PDF form collects your email and selected product; name, surname, company, country, sector and phone are collected only if you provide them. The contact form collects name, email, subject, message and any optional phone and company details. We use these data to reply and send the requested documentation.
When you browse, the infrastructure receives technical data such as IP address, time, requested pages and browser information to deliver and protect the service. The forms retain pseudonymised identifiers to prevent abuse and duplicate submissions; the website database does not store the text of your requests.
Legal bases and optional information
Precontractual enquiries at your initiative are handled under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For general enquiries or enquiries on behalf of a company, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to business contacts (Article 6(1)(f)). Security and abuse prevention serve PFI’s legitimate interest in protecting the website and users (Article 6(1)(f)). Any statutory obligations are addressed under Article 6(1)(c).
Providing information is voluntary. We cannot process the form without its required fields; leaving optional fields empty does not prevent submission. Marketing consent is not required to receive PDFs or a reply. These forms do not subscribe you to newsletters or marketing campaigns.
Recipients and services
Requests are sent to info@pfitech.it for PFI staff handling enquiries. Resend sends emails and PDF attachments. The site is hosted on OpenAI Sites with Cloudflare infrastructure; business email and technical support providers also process data as needed to provide their services. Data are not published on the website.
Contact the controller for information about providers involved in your request. Social media, YouTube and Google Maps links open external services only when selected; those services have their own privacy notices.
Processing outside the European Economic Area
International providers may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States. Resend states that message and log storage is in the USA even when an EU sending region is selected, and provides standard contractual clauses in its data processing agreement. Technical data handled by Cloudflare infrastructure may also be processed in the USA.

Retention
Business correspondence should be retained for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting business discussions; further retention must be limited to statutory obligations or the protection of rights, for the applicable periods. Contact the controller for the retention applicable to your particular request.
The forms database applies a 48-hour threshold to pseudonymised metadata: older records are deleted by the next automatic cleanup following a successful submission. Resend normally specifies 30 days for messages and logs on standard plans and 7 days for backups; plan-specific terms may differ. This does not apply to copies received in email inboxes. Your rights
Subject to Articles 15–22 GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your situation. If separate processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting prior lawful processing. The site does not perform commercial profiling or solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects; automatic PDF delivery provides the service you requested.
